Getting Started
What cards do you buy?
We buy a wide range of trading cards including Pokémon, NBA, Soccer, Baseball, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic: The Gathering, and more. We accept both raw (ungraded) cards and professionally graded slabs from PSA, BGS, CGC, and SGC.
How do I sell my cards to Swap Itt?
It's easy! Simply go to your account, click on 'Sell Your Cards', upload photos of your cards, add details about condition and your asking price, then submit. We'll review your submission and make you an offer within 24-48 hours.
Do I need an account to sell?
Yes, you'll need to create a free account to submit cards for sale. This helps us keep track of your submissions and communicate offers to you.
Pricing & Valuation
What is my card worth?
We recommend using eBay's 'Sold Items' filter to see recent sale prices for your cards. This gives you a realistic idea of current market value. You can also check price guides like TCGPlayer or PSA's price guide for graded cards.
How much does Swap Itt pay for cards?
We typically pay between 60-80% of a card's recent market value, depending on the card's rarity, demand, and condition. High-value and rare cards may receive higher percentages. We aim to offer competitive prices while ensuring a quick and hassle-free selling experience.
Will Swap Itt value my cards for free?
We provide valuations as part of our buying process. Simply submit your cards through our online system and we'll provide an offer. For insurance valuations or formal appraisals, please contact us directly.
Can I set my own price?
Yes! When submitting your cards, you can include an asking price. We'll review it and either accept, make a counter-offer, or decline based on current market conditions.
The Selling Process
How long does it take to get an offer?
We typically review submissions and make offers within 24-48 hours. For large collections or rare items that require additional research, it may take a bit longer.
How long do I have to accept an offer?
Once we make an offer, you have 24 hours to accept or decline. After 24 hours, the offer expires and you'll need to resubmit if you'd like a new offer.
What happens after I accept an offer?
After accepting, you'll receive a unique pickup code. Bring your cards to our store, show the pickup code, and receive payment on the spot. It's that simple!
Can I change my mind after accepting?
Once you accept an offer and receive a pickup code, we expect you to complete the transaction. If circumstances change, please contact us as soon as possible.
Dropping Off Cards
Do I need to book an appointment?
No appointment needed! Simply drop by our store during opening hours with your cards and pickup code. For large collections, we recommend coming during weekday afternoons when we're less busy.
What should I bring?
Bring your cards (properly protected), your pickup code (shown on your phone is fine), and valid photo ID. Make sure the cards match exactly what you submitted in your photos.
Can you come to me for large collections?
For significantly valuable collections that are difficult to transport, please contact us directly. We may be able to arrange a visit depending on location and collection value.
Payment
How do I get paid?
We offer immediate payment when you drop off your cards. Payment options include bank transfer, PayPal, or store credit (with a bonus percentage for store credit).
Is there a minimum value to sell?
While there's no strict minimum, we recommend submissions with a total value of at least $20 to make the process worthwhile for both parties.
Do you pay more for store credit?
Yes! If you choose store credit instead of cash, we typically offer a 10-15% bonus on top of our cash offer.
Card Condition
Do you buy damaged cards?
It depends on the card. Most modern cards need to be in good condition to resell. However, for older key cards (like vintage Charizards), we may still be interested even with some wear. Please include clear photos showing any damage.
How should I describe card condition?
Be honest about condition in your submission. Include photos of any scratches, whitening, creases, or other flaws. This helps us make accurate offers and avoids issues at drop-off.
Do graded cards get better offers?
Generally yes! Graded cards from reputable companies (PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC) are easier to price and sell, so we can often offer better percentages. Include the cert number in your submission.
Bulk & Collections
Do you buy bulk cards?
Yes, we buy bulk cards! For bulk submissions, please sort cards by type (holos, reverse holos, rares, etc.) and ensure they're in good condition without sleeves. Contact us for current bulk rates.
I have a large collection - what should I do?
For large collections, we recommend starting with your most valuable cards through our online submission system. For the rest, contact us directly to discuss bulk rates or an in-person evaluation.
Do you buy sealed products?
Yes! We buy sealed booster boxes, ETBs, and other sealed products. Submit photos showing the product is factory sealed and in good condition.
